FINALLY, a Decision has been made!
Oh the struggles were real! We were so heartbroken, over no longer being able to carry our beloved Prairie Colors, after they went out of business. But we picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off and…. well you get the picture, right? We began the journey of researching, applying for wholesale applications, and trying out samples in our commitment to offer you the best for your painting needs. While we found lots of paint companies out there and they are all pretty wonderful. The choices were tough and the decisions making process wasn’t fun, to say the least. After much thought and what I felt was the closest to what we had been using and selling to our customers was… Country Chic Paint.
We decided to start with their All-In-One Décor Paint, which is a clay based paint. It is eco-friendly with low VOC. It adheres well on a large variety of surfaces, covers really well and you need less paint coats. Very easy to use with little to no prep work. It cures to a durable, matte finish and can easily be distressed to create that shabby chic look and add vintage charm to all your projects or you can just leave it as is and go for a modern look, too. Distressing is a breeze and you can do it without tools, ladies! Wet distress your projects and no mess to clean up! In case you are wondering, YES it can be used on kitchen cabinets!!! Oh and I forgot to mention…it can be used for indoor or outdoor projects.
We love the Country Chic Colors that are available!
They also have lots of fun products that we (you and me) can use to make all of our projects uniquely ours and enhance the beauty of our pieces. They have a variety of wax colors, texture powders, antiquing dust, image transfer medium, crackle medium, tough coat, metallic creams, beeswax distressing bars, glazes….now doesn’t that just sound like loads of fun!!! I can’t wait to try it all!
We will be doing workshops, and tutorials on the different projects. So be sure to follow us by signing up for our mailing list, here, to receive free tutorials, workshop dates and other specials.
